Teachers do not consider government's 'ultimatum' in schools without a degree of B.D.

Nearly eight lakh teachers of government and private schools of the country have been given one last chance to get the BEd's eligibility, the Central Government said Friday in the Lok Sabha. According to the teachers who have not received any degree of B.D. by March 31, 2019, they will be subjected to a leakage.

Human Resources Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said this in the Lok Sabha on Friday. He gave this information during the discussion on the Right to Free and Compulsory Education (Research) Bill, 2017. While presenting the bill in the Lok Sabha on Friday, he said that about 2.5 lakh private schools and about two and a half lakh teachers do not have minimum eligibility in government schools.
It is very harmful to be taught by non-teaching teachers to children. Under these circumstances, till March 31, 2019, those who are without minimum qualification, those who have not got a B.D. degree, will have to get a job if they do not get jobs.
